Important Preparations of Amalaki (Emblica Officinalis Gaertn) :

Ashtavarg Chyavanprash (Avaleha / Lehyam) :

Suggested Dosage : 

Adults : One tablespoonful (15 g) twice a day

Children : One teaspoonful (5 g) twice a day, an hour before food or as directed by the Physician.

Dhatriloha (Pills / Tablet) :

Suggested Dosage : 2 tablet twice a day with warm water.

Amalaki Rasayana ( Powder / Churna) :

Suggested Dosage : 1 to 2 teaspoonful mixed with sugarcandy & then take it with water. or as advised by the physician.

Phal Ghritam (Ghee) :

Suggested Dosage : 10 to 20 gm. with milk.

Kanakarista (Syrup / Kadha) :

Suggested Dosage : 2 to 4 teaspoonful twice a day with equal quantity of lukewarm water or as directed by the Physician.
